GOLDEN, Colo. – Colorado School of Mines' Marie Patton has been named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women's Runner of the Week as announced this afternoon by the RMAC.

Patton, a junior from Littleton, Colo. (Heritage H.S.), won her first collegiate cross country race on Saturday at the Colorado College Invite helping the CSM women to the team title. Patton finished third overall and was the top collegiate finisher among the 99 runners. The only two athletes that finished ahead of Patton were current professional runners and former RMAC standouts Stephanie Bylander and Shannon Payne.
