Alexis Garcia, a senior at Cal State Fullerton, earned eighth in the men's 8-kilometer race in 24:15.4 at the Big West Conference Cross Country Championships at Blacklake Golf Resort in Nipomo, Calif. Garcia helped Cal State Fullerton take third overall as a team with 89 points.
