Dillon Powell of Colorado School of Mines won the men's 10,000-meter title in 28:44.97 at the NCAA Division 2 Outdoor Championships at Grand Valley State in Allendale, Mich. Powell also finished third in the 5,000-meter final in 13:55.03, helping the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference sweep the top three in both events, along with Afewerki Zeru of UC-Colorado Springs and Adams State's Awet Beraki.
