Air Academy from Colorado won the Bob Day girls sweepstakes race with 77 points at the 42nd Woodbridge Cross Country Classic presented by ASICS America at Orange County Great Park in Irvine, Calif. Bethany Michalak covered the 3-mile layout in 15:52.2 to secure sixth place, Jordan Banta achieved 16th place in 16:30.4, Tessa Walter grabbed 19th in 16:30.6, Emily Beers took 28th in 16:46.8, Mariah Hook captured 52nd in 17:10.6, Lauren Myers earned 66th in 17:16.5 and Olivia Chura was 95th in 17:48.6 for the Kadets, who became the first Colorado girls program to secure the sweepstakes crown in meet history.
