Air Academy head coach Chuck Schwartz recaps the Kadets capturing back-to-back Class 5A girls titles and producing the lowest team score in classification history with 26 points at the Colorado High School Activities Association Cross Country Championships at Norris Penrose Event Center in Colorado Springs. Air Academy had five scorers in the top eight, including freshmen Mariah Hook taking third and Chamorra Cooper securing seventh, to eclipse the 2007 performance of Dakota Ridge, which achieved 28 points. The Kadets also ran the fastest team time in Class 5A history by clocking 89:44.
