English Gardner Returns to the Track with Strong 100-Meter Race in Italy

English Gardner's last race was in July 2017. However, she showed no signs of that extended time off, racing to victory in the 100 meters Thursday at the Palio Citta della Quercia in Rovereto, Italy.

RESULTS

Gardner pulled away from the field to win by about two meters in 11.02 seconds. Michelle-Lee Ahye of Trinidad and Tobago finished second in 11.23.
