Ryan Birkmeier, a sophomore at Colorado State, won the men's 800-meter title in 1:49.32 at the Mountain West Conference Championships at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif. Birkmeier also contributed to a runner-up performance in the 4x400-meter relay in 3:12.01 for the Rams.
