Sarah Carter, a graduate student-athlete at Colorado State, won her section of the 10,000 meters in 32:58.20 and senior teammate Lily Tomasula-Martin took third in 33:03.32, both significant personal-best performances at the Stanford Invitational at Cobb Track and Angell Field in Palo Alto, Calif.
