Lily Tomasula-Martin earned eighth place, Annabel Stafford finished ninth and Sarah Carter took 11th for Colorado State in the Mountain West Conference women's cross country championship race at the Jacoby Golf Course in Laramie, Wyoming. Tomasula-Martin covered the 6-kilometer layout in 20:09.6, Stafford clocked 20:10.7 and Carter ran 20:16.2 to help the Rams place second overall with 61 points. Tomasula-Martin was eighth for the second year in a row, Stafford improved from 41st place last season and Carter returned after missing the October final last year, elevating from finishing 48th at the March 2021 conference championship.
