Taylor Rorick, a senior at Valor Christian High in Colorado, placed 20th in the girls sweepstakes race at he 16th Desert Twilight Festival, covering the 5-kilometer course in 18:28.4 at the Coyote Run Golf Course at Leisure World in Mesa, Ariz. Rorick helped Valor Christian take third overall with 127 points.
